World Lottery Association

  • The World Lottery Association is dedicated to combatting illegal lottery operations around the globe. Through the work of it’s Illegal Lotteries and Betting Committee (ILBC), the WLA advises member lotteries on how they can best fight unauthorised lotteries within the regulatory framework of their respective jurisdictions.  Click here to read more. 
  • The World Lottery Association’s Security Control Standard (“WLA-SCS”) is the only internationally recognized information security standard for the lottery and gaming industry. The WLA-SCS certification is open only to members or associate members of WLA.  Click here to read more.
  • In 2006, the World Lottery Association adopted the Responsible Gaming Principles and a Responsible Gaming Framework aimed at protecting lottery players around the world. This effort and commitment ensures not only that our players are protected but that revenues are sustained for the public good. In this link you will find the Responsible Gaming Principles as well as supporting documents for the Responsible Gaming Framework.
