The 2024 APLA Workshop took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 7-10 May with the theme of ‘Lotteries: Sharing for Success’.
The event was the first of its kind for APLA – a workshop tailored specifically for middle-level management and those new to the lotteries industry.
With a theme focussed on lottery operations, the program centred on how a lottery business plans it portfolio of products, considerations of the potential market demand to develop downstream products as well as using prize payout and customer demand considerations to help inform these decisions. The program also covered product advertising, messaging, and communications.
