
The Asia-Pacific Lottery Association (APLA) successfully hosted the 2025 APLA Regional Conference from 28–31 October at the City of Dreams, Manila with the host lottery Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
Under the theme “The Future of Lotteries: Thriving in an Uncertain Era,” the conference brought together 200+ industry leaders and experts from across the globe to discuss innovation, sustainability, and resilience in today’s evolving lottery landscape.
The business program featured thought-provoking sessions and panel discussions on topics such as digital transformation, responsible gaming, data analytics, and emerging technologies shaping the future of lotteries. Distinguished speakers included Nils Vesk (Australia), Stéphane Pallez (FDJ United), Robert Chvátal (Allwyn Group), Alessandro Paciucci (WLA Security & Risk Committee), and Carlo Kristle G. Dimarucut (EY Manila), among other experts who shared valuable insights and international best practices.
Delegates also enjoyed a memorable social and cultural program organized by PCSO, featuring a spectacular performance by the renowned Filipino shadow play group El Gamma Penumbra, and a Networking Day at Las Casas, Quezon City, offering a glimpse into Filipino heritage, culture, and cuisine.
